Petunia Fan Club Continues to Grow
The Ball Horticultural Company was pleased with the response to its recent “Accept the Gardener in You” campaign. Ball gave consumers the chance to win Wave Petunia Gardening Gift Packs by viewing the Wave commercial on YouTube and then submitting their own “confession” about their love for Wave petunias. Nearly 800 “confessions” were submitted from the United States and Canada.
Only Wave Fan Club members were allowed to submit entries, resulting in hundreds of new fan club members. In addition, daily traffic to the official Wave petunia website more than doubled during the promotional period.
