This year’s Garden Centers of America Holiday Tour, scheduled for Nov. 17 to 20 in the Philadelphia and Washington, D.C., areas, is sure to be even bigger and more festive than last year’s — with a visit to the White House planned for the last night.
And if you act soon, you’ll be eligible for early-bird registration prices: $550 for GCA members and $600 for nonmembers, not including airfare or lodging. After Oct. 15, the price goes up $200 to $750 for members and $800 for nonmembers.
Stops on the 2008 tour include Waterloo Exton, Terrain at Styer's, Longwood Gardens, Esbenshade, Stauffer’s of Kissel Hill Garden Center, Feeney's, Gasper Home & Garden, Byers' Choice, Rhoads Garden Center, Bucks Country Gardens, Peddler's Village, Watson's, Valley View and Homestead. Between stops, the conversations on the bus are lively and constructive, and the networking opportunities are nearly endless.
