Plans are under way for the 2009 National Hardware Show, scheduled for May 5 to 7, 2009, at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas.
The 64th annual National Hardware Show will include many new programs and services designed to empower manufacturers and retailers with the ideas, new products and merchandising solutions to generate sales and increase profitability.
“We are making major changes to inspire manufacturers and retailers with new ideas, education and, most importantly, new products to jump start sales in a challenging marketplace,” said Group Vice President Ed Several.
Included in those changes is the introduction of the Staycation Marketing Center, a new, outside feature area that will showcase hands-on testing and education covering “what’s new” in grills, outdoor furnishings, accessories, storage and coverings that retailers can market to consumers who choose to spend their vacations at home.
Char-Broil, returning to the National Hardware Show for the first time since 2002, will anchor the center.
