  • OFA Short Course Trade Show Expands

    March 14, 2007

The 2007 OFA Short Course Trade Show will be even bigger this year. Totaling more than 7 acres, this year’s trade show is expanding to 1,440 exhibit spaces, a 122-booth increase. AgriNomix, Dillen Products, and Novalis have moved to a newly opened section and will anchor this expanded space.

Also new this year is the announcement of Novalis as the latest company recognized by OFA as a Destination Exhibitor, the first destination exhibitor since 1998. According to McAtee, “Destination exhibitors are defined as an exhibitor that, through its status in the industry or its history of high attraction at the Short Course, is considered a ‘must see’ by a majority of show attendees.”

Destination exhibitors are strategically placed to create constant traffic flow throughout the trade show hall. “The destination exhibitors have been willing to locate away from the first entrances and the front of the hall to other locations to draw people to all areas of the floor.

In addition to Novalis, 11 other companies are considered destination exhibitors: AgriNomix; Ball Seed Company and Ball FloraPlant; BFG Supply Inc; Blackmore Company Inc & Blackmore/Ellepot; Bouldin & Lawson Inc; Paul Ecke Ranch; Fred C Gloeckner & Company Inc; Goldsmith Seeds; S & G Flowers/Syngenta Seeds & Syngenta Professional Products; and Yoder Brothers.

The OFA Short Course is July 14-17, at the Greater Columbus Convention Center in Columbus, Ohio. For more information at (614) 487-1117 or ofa@ofa.org. You can also visit OFA online at www.ofa.org.
