‘Bellfire’ is the sister variety to the successful begonia ‘Bonfire’. ‘Bellfire’ has a more upright habit and is vigorous, and therefore ideal for outdoor containers and in the landscape. It has glossy, dark-green leaves and an abundance of cerise-red, pendulous flowers measuring to 1-2 inches across. ‘Bellfire’ performs best when planted in full sun, where it grows large quickly. It flowers from early summer through early frost and recovers easily from water stress.
