Fall Creek Farm & Nursery is unveiling their new BrazelBerries Collection of small ornamental fruit shrubs at the 2012 MANTS show in Baltimore.

“BrazelBerries is an exciting new venture for us – bringing a collection of new varieties targeted specifically to the home garden market,” says Amelie Brazelton Aust, New Products Manager and a second-generation owner of Fall Creek. “With the soaring consumer demand for blueberries and the trend towards edible landscapes and sustainability, we decided the time was right to introduce a collection of berry bushes for the home gardener.”

“Our family’s goal was to develop new varieties that met our three key breeding criteria: simple, beautiful and delicious,” says Aust. “First and foremost these new berry plants must be beautiful, ornamental shrubs. Then they must be simple to grow, and produce delicious, abundant fruit.”

Initial quantities will be available in 2013 to independent garden centers exclusively through an established network of wholesale growers. The growers will offer retail-ready two-gallon BrazelBerries plants in a branded container accompanied with an informative color tag. Retailers can stop by the BrazelBerries’ booth #900 to get a taste of the new BrazelBerries Collection during the MANTS show in January. For more information visit www.brazelberries.com.
