FreezePruf Takes Home Mailorder Gardening Association AwardSource: Garden Media Group

FreezePruf, the Liquid Fence Company’s breakthrough product for forst protection, won the MGA’s 2010 Green Thumb Award. Winners were selected for uniqueness, technological innovation, ability to solve a gardening problem and potential appeal to gardeners.

The announcement was made at the recent MGA Winter Conference in Baltimore, where FreezePruf took top honors in the Tools, Supplies and Accessories division for outstanding new garden product available by mail or online.

The Green Thumb is the second award FreezePruf has received; the first was “Best in Show” at the 2009 IGC Show at Chicago’s Navy Pier. The Liquid Fence Company also took home Green Thumb Awards in 2009 for Liquid Net for Pets and Liquid Fence Mole Repellent Worms.

Developed by botanists, the eco-friendly spray protects ornamentals, fruit and vegetables from frost and freeze damage. It improves a plant’s natural cold tolerance from 2-9° F, depending on the variety of plant, helping to extend its growing season by a couple of weeks in early spring and/or late fall.
