GCA Holiday Tour Registration Now Available

It's hard to believe the holiday season is nearly upon us — autumn has just begun! But Halloween's just around the corner, and registration is now open for the Christmas season's must-attend event: the 2009 Garden Centers of America Holiday Tour, taking place Nov. 16 to 19 in Cleveland, Ohio.

The tour kicks off with a welcome reception and awards ceremony, and the following days will including stops at Uncle John's Plant Farm and Gift Barn, Corso's Flower and Garden Center, Petitti Garden Center, Boyert's Garden Center, A1 Root Candles and Gift, Gale's Westlake Garden Center, 'Tis the Season Christmas Shoppe, Pine Tree Barn, Suncrest Gardens, Donzell's Flower and Garden Center, Eagle Creek Garden Center, Breezewood Gardens and M&M Wintergreens.

Attendees will also get to check out the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame and enjoy a little pre-holiday festivity with their industry friends. Christmas carols on the bus, anyone?

This year's host hotel is the Marriott Cleveland Airport, and spots for this tour should fill up quickly. Online registration is now available; early-bird registration for GCA members is $550 until Oct. 23, and $600 for nonmembers. (It's $750 and $800, respectively, after that.)
