Georgia Garden Center Wins Business of the Year

Elrod Garden Center in Dallas, Ga., has received the Paulding County Chamber’s “Business of the Year” Award, according to the Dallas-Hiram Patch.

The business opened in September 1988 and caters to commercial landscaping companies, retailers and individual gardeners. Most of its plants are grown locally.

Owners Sam and Danita Elrod are also very active in the community, according to the story that was presented along with the award. Sam leads the “Paulding is Blooming” project, which plants wildflowers in the county’s medians.
