Rice-hull pots

Made of bamboo husks, these planters are 100 percent natural. If used indoors, they will begin to decompose after three years; outdoors, decomposition begins after two years. Once the pot begins to decompose, customers may replant their plants — with the pot — into the ground. This prevents trauma to the roots and facilitates growth. If dropped in a landfill, planters should degrade completely in six months.
