    Chamaecyparis

    ‘Soft Serve’ is a compact, conical evergreen with soft fern-like branching. Bright-green leaves are flecked with silver-blue on the underside. A very appealing plant in containers and in the landscape, it grows in full sun to part shade and is hardy to Zone 5.

    Abelia

    This new abelia is bred to provide seasons of color. ‘Bronze Anniversary’ boasts bronze-orange new growth that emerges to lime gold through the season. White spring flowers rebloom intermittently throughout the season. Hardy to Zone 6, it prefers full sun to part shade.

    Ceanothus

    New at retail spring 2010, ‘Marie Bleu’ is a blue-flowering version of ‘Marie Simon’. Soft lavender-blue flowers cover this plant in late spring, and red seed heads add to its appeal. Hardy to Zone 6, it performs best in full sun to part shade.

    Petunia

    Early flowering Sun Spun can be grown cool, and has a tight and compact, ball-shaped habit so plants stay controlled on the bench. In the garden, it grows into a lush, flower-filled plant.
