  • Walters Gardens, Inc. Wins Web Awards

    February 8, 2010

Walters Gardens, Inc.'s websites received some of the highest honors available in the trade on Jan. 14 at the National Agri-Marketing Association awards ceremony in Minneapolis. Its flagship website, www.waltersgardens.com, won first place, and its consumer website, www.perennialresource.com, received the merit award.

Approximately one year ago, Walters Gardens, Inc. relaunched three completely redesigned and updated websites: www.waltersgardens.com, www.perennialresource.com and www.growdesignerplants.com. Paulsen Marketing, a full-service agency based in Sioux Falls, S.D., created the framework and programming for the sites, but Walters Gardens was responsible the content, look and function. In August 2009, the company added online ordering for wholesale customers, making Walters Gardens one of the first wholesalers to do so. To date, more than 3 million people have visited the sites.

Only one of each award was given for each region at the association's awards ceremony; Walters Gardens, Inc. won for Region III (Midwest), one of the most competitive in the country. It contains some of the largest agri-marketing clients in the country, including Syngenta, John Deere, Bayer CropScience, DuPont Crop Protection and Pioneer Hi-Bred International. Walters Gardens, Inc. websites are now eligible to advance to the national awards competition where they will compete with agricultural businesses across the entire United States.

For more information, visit Walters Gardens' website or call (888) WALTERS.
