At Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania, from April 4 to May 31, enjoy hundreds of lush acres featuring daffodils, tulips, azaleas and more, while flowering magnolias and cherry trees color the landscape. Indoors, lilies, delphiniums, echium and hydrangeas take center stage, filling the conservatory with fragrance and color.

During peak bloom, Longwood’s historic 600-foot long Flower Garden Walk boasts over 100,000 tulips and other seasonal blooms in a rainbow of colors. The Idea Garden is awash in innovative plant combinations that will inspire. Guests won’t want to miss Longwood’s grand treehouses, whimsical Topiary Garden, and historic Peirce’s Woods. Daily visitor programs, including gardening demonstrations, behind-the-scenes tours and talks add to Longwood’s charms.

Children will enjoy the many activities in the outdoor Children’s Corner and the imaginative fun of the Indoor Children’s Garden. Longwood’s new Meadow Garden comes to life in the spring as Carolina Silverbell, Eastern Redbud, flowering dogwood and Sweet Azalea grace the Forest Edge. Located on the Conservatory Terrace, the New Heights Project Exhibit explores the cutting-edge technology, horticulture, and architecture behind the revitalization of the Main Fountain Garden.
