Scotts Consolidates Distribution Network
Effective Oct. 1, 2015, Scotts will service independent retailers through an exclusive distribution arrangement with National Prime Source. Established in 1992, National Prime Source is a national distribution and logistics company that provides a consistent level of dedication and service to many industries.
National Prime Source currently utilizes Arett Sales Corp., BWI Companies Inc, L&L Nursery Supply Inc. and V-G Supply Co. for its distribution services in the lawn and garden channel.
National Prime Source is currently identifying the need for additional distributors with a target date of July 1, 2015 set for final selection. Please note that these changes do not affect Scotts’ relationship with the Ace, True Value, Do it Best, United Hardware, or Southern States cooperatives.
