Spring Trials First Timer
Well, I finally made it – California Spring Trials 2014. I can cross it off my hort bucket list. I’m on day five of six, traveling the California coast (SFO to LAX) with my peeps from our sister publication GPN magazine.
Being the newbie, there was pretty much only one thing I expected – lots of flowers. Whether it’s a new introduction, an improved variety or new packaging, Spring Trials is the event to get wowed by what’s coming down the pipeline.
But I’ve been so surprised by the retail-focused displays at many of the stops. And while I’ve clocked more than 1,200 photos on my camera with two more days to go, check out this small merchandising gallery from the trip on Lawn & Garden Retailer’s Facebook page. And if you like what you see, don’t worry, I’ve got plenty more where that came from.
