Calloway’s Nursery Appoints New President
Marce Ward has been named president, chief operating officer and member of the board of directors of Calloway’s Nursery, effective Jan. 1, 2015.
Ward joined the Texas garden center chain in 1987 and was most recently the head of merchandising and marketing. Ward received his Master of Business Administration from Texas Christian University and has an associate’s degree in ornamental horticulture from Texas State Technical College.
Ward’s appointment comes at the same time as other management changes to take effect in the new year. John Crosby, Calloway’s vice president of corporate development and a director, will retire. John Peters will continue to serve as vice president of operations but will leave his position on the board of directors. Daniel Reynolds, vice president and CFO, will join the board of directors.
