Deadline This Friday for GCA Bathroom Award
The application deadline for Garden Centers of America new Bathroom Award is this Friday, July 15. The award recognizes those garden centers that have outstanding restrooms.
The GCA Bathroom Awards will be presented at the GCA Annual Meeting and Luncheon taking place on Thursday, Aug. 18, 2011, at the IGC Show in Chicago. All independent garden centers are eligible to enter. Membership in GCA is not required to enter the contest.
To enter the competition, garden centers should send the name of their store, address, and a contact person at the store for questions along with their telephone and e-mail address. Also, several pictures of your bathroom saved in jpeg format should be sent along with a brief paragraph about the bathroom, why it is designed the way it is, and its benefit at the garden center. The information should be sent to [email protected].
Judges will review the photographs and descriptions and judge the entries on creativity and comfort to the customer’s overall shopping experience. The deadline for entry is 5 p.m. (EST) July 15, 2011.
Also, don’t miss the GCA Annual Meeting and Luncheon taking place on Thursday, Aug. 18, 2011, at 12:30 p.m. at the IGC Show. There will be free beer and pizza.
