NGB Supports Growing Solutions Farm

National Garden Bureau (NGB) has joined the #GivingTuesday movement, which will use the power of social media to create a national movement dedicated to giving on Tuesday, Dec. 2 – the Tuesday after Thanksgiving.

NGB, by using crowdfunding site Indiegogo, is bringing more attention to using gardens as vocational therapy. One garden in particular, the Growing Solutions Farm, is the garden of choice for NGB’s 2014 fundraiser.

This farm, a program of the Julie+Michael Tracy Family Foundation, is a leading example of a 360-degree approach to training young adults with autism the skills needed for a fulfilling career and independent life.
